Photo of the Day: The Great Migration in Serengeti National Park

There are few occurrences in the natural world more epic and more spectacular than the annual migration of almost two million wildebeest across the plains of Tanzania and Kenya, in a seasonal event known as “the great migration.” And as you’ll see in this week’s episode, we never actually expected so see the migration during our visit to the Serengeti because we’d been told it wasn’t the right time of year. So imagine our surprise to find an endless sea of wildebeest and zebra waiting for us when we arrived. An absolutely incredible thing to witness!
