Where We Stayed: Maramboi Tented Camp, Tarangire, Tanzania

[Click on the image above to watch the video]

Situated just a short drive away from the gates of Tanzania’s beautiful Tarangire National Park (and not far from Lake Manyara National Park) lies one of the coolest places you could possibly stay in this part of the world. And we were lucky enough to spend a couple of nights there during our short safari through Tarangire. Check it out!

The Maramboi Tented Camp sits in the desert plains between Tarangire and Manyara, and features 40 spacious tents built on sturdy wooden decks, each with its own pirvate bathroom and private veranda – the perfect place, we found, to sit out  in the mornings and evenings and watch the herds of zebra, wildebeest and warthogs as they roam nearby. So check out the short video from our stay, as well as a few of the photos we took during our visit (below). And if you ever get the chance to spend a night or two in Maramboi, tell ’em Nik and Dusty sent you! 🙂

Cheers y’all. And happy travels!
