We all, at one time or another, have daydreamed about going on a safari in Africa. Right? Daydreamed about driving across the vast and unspoiled African plains, and getting up close to lions and zebras and giraffe and elephants and all those other spectacular animals in the wild. Right? Well this, friends, is the realization of our very own daydreams come true. We’re in the wild and beautiful East African country of Tanzania, and we’re excited to be kicking off our latest adventure series with our first ever safari trip! Giddyup!

And to be honest, we never really had any idea it would happen. But thanks to our friends at Adventure Life, Tripfilms and the good folks at a company called Tanzania Journeys, we were able to put the trip together almost quite literally at the last minute. And because of that unfortunately, the only window we had available during our schedule happened to be during the rainy season in Tanzania – so going into the trip we had a very real fear that much of the adventure would get washed away in a great African flood.

But as you’ll see in this week’s very cool episode, the fact that it was the rainy season actually worked in our favor, because at times it felt as though we had the whole of Tanzania completely to ourselves. So enjoy! We hope you’ll come along with us on our very first safari. And just check out the very cool surprises at the end.

Much, much, much more to come from Tanzania over the next several weeks as our safari unfolds! So be sure to subscribe and be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. And prepare to be awed and inspired!

Thanks very much, and let’s get going! Or as they say in Swahili: Asante Sana. Twende!

Cheers y’all!
