Get the Scoop from Nik & Dusty! Join The Two for the Road Community!

Nik and Dusty on Safari in TanzaniaGotta say. We have been absolutely overwhelmed and humbled by everybody’s support as we kick off this grand adventure, and this exciting new chapter in our lives. You. Guys. Are. The. Best.

Particularly cool has been the number of you guys who’ve shared your email with us and subscribed to the Two for the Road community. Because quite honestly, all the Facebook likes and Twitter follows are very, very cool – but it’s your support of this website that means the most to us, both in terms of your actual interest in what we’re doing, and our ability to attract sponsors and hopefully keep this crazy dream of ours alive. So cheers guys! We ‘preciate ya!

The Benefits of Subscribing:

Two for the Road GoPro GiveawaySo what happens when you become a subscriber? Pretty simple really. You’ll get an occassional email from us that tells you what’s going on with us and/or the show, and what kinds of cool new stuff you’ll find on the website. You’ll also be among the first to take advantage of special travel-related offers that will be coming down the pike, as well as some very groovy contests and
giveaways we’ll be rolling out periodically. Case in point? We’ve already given away a brand-spankin’ new GoPro Hero 4 Silver to one lucky subscriber and our next giveaway is right around the corner. It’s our way of saying thanks for coming along with us on this big adventure!

Our No Spam Guarantee:

That said, we absolutely know what it’s like to have your e-mail inbox flooded with garbage on a daily basis. We promise not to do that. And we promise we’re not gonna spam you or sell your emails to some shady internet marketing firm. Once you give us your email, it goes in the vault. Period. And you are absolutely free to unsubscribe at any time. (But of course we’d rather you not. LOL.)

At the very least, we hope our weekly emails will be a gentle reminder that we’re out here in the world somewhere, and that we’re super excited about sharing that week’s adventure with you. And who knows? Maybe we can provide you a fun distraction in the midst of an otherwise monotonous work day.

So if you’ve subscribed already, a big and hearty thanks! And if you haven’t yet, we sincerely hope you will. Just type your email in that little box to the upper right of the headline above and you’re in! Giddyup.

Cheers everybody! Thanks again for the love and support, and we’re honored to have you along for the ride.

    just ❤️❤️❤️❤️ your adventures!!

  2. you guys rock.. My husband and I live vicariously through your FB PAGE and watching your episodes

  3. I just discovered your show when it appeared on my local PBS station. I incorporate photography into my travel adventures and so I’d be interested in learning more about the equipment and techniques you use to shoot your videos. Do you have a cameraman that travels with you or do you do all your video work yourselves? It appears that you use some drone shots. What type of drone do you use and how difficult is it to use and transport?

    • Hey Richard! Thanks for the email, and thanks for watching! We plan on putting a post together explaining how we shoot the episodes… but until then: we do actually shoot/edit/produce everything ourselves! We shoot primarily on two Canon 5D Mark IIs, a couple of GoPros, and we have a DJI Phantom 3 drone that travels along with us (in a GoProfessional hard case). Everything aside from the drone fits into our backpack, so it’s all light and easily portable! Keep checking back for that post, which we hope we’ll get up in a couple of weeks. Cheers! And thanks again!

  4. I just love your show. I watch a lot of travel series. And while they’re all pretty good, your show appears to be just a bit more genuine. Your love of travel and for each other is evident. Keep up the great work. You guys are great!

    • Thank you so much Julie! What a great compliment! We appreciate the kind words, and we so appreciate you watching. That’s awesome! Cheers!

Hi Nik & Dusty…. our station here (pbs station KVIE in Sacramento), just started carrying your adventures and my husband and I absolutely love your program! My favorite is the trip to Greece, as it is the country I have wanted to visit for a long time. I wanted to ask about your river cruise adventure. I have problems with large crowds and if I remember correctly, your cruise had a total of 36 people. Could you give us the name of the travel agency that put you in touch with them? God bless you both and safe travels.

    • Hi Lorraine and thanks so much for reaching out! We went with a company called Variety Cruises! We booked the adventure through a tour company called Adventure Life. Here’s the exact trip we booked: We absolutely loved the boat and the crew. There are only 26 cabins and it never felt crowded. And believe us, we’re the same when it comes to crowds. The really great thing about Variety is you can decide what you want to do and for how long. It’s not just a quick stop over and back on the boat. You can go with the group or you can do your own thing. We SO enjoyed that particular adventure! And we could not believe how beautiful Greece really is. The pictures just don’t do it justice! Please let the folks at Adventure Life know we sent ya! And please let us know all about your trip! We’d love to hear all about it! Cheers and thanks for the kind words about the show! And keep your eyes peeled! Season 3 is coming in October! Fingers crossed KVIE will air it! 😉
