Y’all Join Us for a Texas-Sized Night of Adventure at the Drive In!

[Posted March 19, 2018]

Alrighty y’all! So check this out. We’re havin’ us a little shindig this weekend, and you are all very cordially invited!

We’re throwin’ a very special Two for the Road screening party coming up this Saturday, March 24th at the Sandell Drive In Theater in Clarendon, Texas, featuring the world premiere of our first ever Texas episode! Yep! We filmed it last fall on our trip down to spectacular Big Bend country, and like the Lone Star State itself, this episode is big, it’s beautiful and it’ll just make your heart swell with Texas pride. Giddyup! Better still, once it’s over the show will be followed up by one of our favorite travel inspired adventure flicks, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty starring and directed by Ben Stiller. How cool is that?

And yes! The event is absolutely FREE and open to the public! Gates will open at 6pm, and before the show starts we’ll have live music from local favorite Jesse Lincycomb (we’ll even have a dance floor if you feel like a little two-steppin’), we’ll have some washer pitchin’, an inflatable bounce house/slide for the kiddos, lots of great door prizes and giveaways courtesy of the Sandell, Panhandle PBS and Create TV, and Big Big Brewing company is providing a limited amount of their cold, tasty brews for the grownups. And of course the concession stand at the Sandell will be open for business and sellin’ lots of those famous burgers and homemade chili. So y’all come out early and join us for lots of fun and great food!

The show itself will begin right after sundown, around 8:15pm or so. And the forecast is looking absolutely beautiful! So be sure to bring your lawn chairs, blankets (just in case), and some cash if you wanna partake in the concessions or buy yourself some super cool TFTR swag.

Oh! And of course we’ve gotta say a big thanks to our sponsors, friends and all the good folks at Texas Dodge, The Clarendon Enterprise, KLSR/KEFH Radio, Big Bend Brewing Company, Panhandle PBS and Create TV for helping make it all happen and helpin’ us get the word out. We ‘preciate y’all!

It’s gonna be a Texas-sized night of fun, friends and fantastic adventure! So y’all make your plans now, and we sure hope we’ll see you there!

Cheers gang!
