Great first show (pod, cast..)! I’m a solo traveler thanks to the military for pushing me out the door; I’ve never stopped. You both inspire me to see and do more; showing us all how accessible the world can be. I’ve taken my daughter to 5 countries and my son is next in line.
Travel inspires, travel increases one’s capacity to love and travel expands the universe.
Thank you both and I look forward to more great shows and traveling along side you.

    • Thank you very much, Michelle! And thank you for your service! It’s wonderful to hear you also have a love for travel and are spreading that love with your children! Travel truly opens our minds and furthers our knowledge of this great big world that’s out there. Thank you for coming along for the ride – we SO appreciate it! And safe travels! Cheers!

    • Hey! Thanks!! Lol. I wish I would’ve gotten into more sorted stories from our old stomping grounds, but there’s only so much time in said podcast… Lol. Hope you’re doing well, sweet friend! Love ya!

Ok – I’ll admit it to the world… I am crazy about this amazing woman! Her husband ain’t that bad either! xo

  7. wow, that was sooo much fun. We, too live in a small Panhandle, Texas town but listening to your job history was so reminiscent of my life I had to laugh! Working 3 jobs just to survive, so true. I’m retired now with my hubby in the huge town of Borger but just travelling through your eyes has been awesome! Surprisingly, for years I would never leave the house without makeup, but believe it or not, just watching you enjoy life just as you had allowed me to just be me annd to hell with worrying about what others might think! At 76 that has been very freeing! Hope to hear a podcast about hubby next time since he is apparently from Borger – a regular celebrity from our little town!!!

    • Laughing out loud! It’s crazy to think back to those days. I think working three jobs now just might do me in! 😉 I’m so glad to hear you may be popping out make-up free! You’re right, it sure is freeing and to hell with all the worry!! 😉 Thank you so much for reaching out and for the kind words about the show. We SO appreciate you watching! And yes, the next podcast is about Dusty and all about how he grew up in Borger. I think you’ll get a kick out of it especially since you live there yourself! Thanks again, and we’re sure glad to have you along for the ride!

  8. Love your honesty and normalcy. Just like your shows, you are so relatable. Nik, you also inspire older women (like me) to follow our passion with out fear. I loved how you acknowledged honestly, that you would not be doing this without your sweet husband. Again thanks for being real and honest. I am able to once again view your shows thanks to Idaho PBS! Happy travels.

    • Hey, Pam! Thank you so very much! That sure means a lot to me/us! We sure appreciate your listening and watching! Great to have you along for the ride! Hope you and yours are doing well during this difficult time. Thanks so much for reaching out to us!

Love, love, love your show. It’s so neat to see local people going all over the world and sharing it with their hometown folks. It’s like watching home movies of someone you know. I’m so glad y’all did these podcasts. Can’t wait to hear the next one.
